Milan re- opens
On May 4th, Pinacoteca di Brera re - opens
Admission will be paid again, but there will not be a simple ticket but a nominal card, which will give the right to visit the rooms of the physical museum for 3 months and access to the virtual museum, BreraPlus, for one year.
It will also be possible to buy the temporary card of the Amici di Brera at no cost and return to the museum for free an unlimited number of times for three months.
Admission to the Pinacoteca will no longer be purchased in the museum, but on brerabooking.org (starting May 2, with reservations required), the ticket counter will give way to a help desk.
The exhibition halls will also have new features: it will be possible to admire the Fantasies of Mario Mafai in the museums, which have already been showcased online (on the Pinacoteca’s website, social networks and above all on Brera Plus +).
Finally, Caffè Fernanda and Bottega Brera, the bookshop of the Pinacoteca, will reopen.
La Scala Theater re - opens on 10/11 May
On May 10, on the 75th anniversary of the rebuilt Scala, the public will be able to return to listen to a live concert.
There will be a concert by the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro alla Scala directed by Riccardo Chailly.
On 11 May, concert of the Wiener Philharmoniker directed by Riccardo Muti.
It is a symbolic choice because the reopening concert of the theater directed by Arturo Toscanini in 1946 was held on 11 May.
